Needs adequate follo: U r a 62 y/o female w/ several conditions probably requiring chronic medications. u do not mention anything about shortness of breath, chest pain, fevers or any other related pulmonary symptoms. Is this really a simple cold/ flu? Still sick after 3 days. No stuffy/ runny nose, yes coughing up phlegm/ blood, throat irritation, loss appetite.
I have a cold (sneezing, runny nose, dry cough). No fever, but feel unusually weak and shaky. Feel viral but not actual pain. Probably not flu?

Spit up mucous: When you say you "spit up" do you mean that you spit out something coming from your throat or stomach or do you mean you cough up something and spit it out.
