Side effects:: Dry mouth unpleasant taste diarrhea constipation vomiting some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately: increased blood pressure heart palpitations restlessness dizziness tremor insomnia shortness of breath chest pain dizziness swelling of the legs and ankles.
Possibly: Anxiety can cause excess cortisol, os adrenaline secretion which can cause a number of symptoms, including dizziness, lightheadedness, rapid heart beat palpitations, chestpain, headaches, etc. Try calming yourself down by concentrating on slowing down your breathing over a few minutes if this doesn't help, see your primary provider for further evaluation. Good luck!
Not likely: The side effects that might occur with Phentermine would be those associated with stimulatory effects. Sometimes a slight increase in pulse rate, slight increase in blood pressure; these are usually transient and if the patient is well-monitored by a medical weight specialist are not typically a problem, this med can cause dry mouth; incr thirst and because of that a patient may drink more water.
None: There are no legitimate "fat burners" except physical exercise. Stop wasting your money, get on appropriate diet and exercise; get support from programs like weight watchers. Phentermine only helps as long as you're taking it, and then you regain the weight. You need to find how to eat properly for the rest of your life, not the next month. Don't get your medical info from friends, tv or internet.See 1 more doctor answer
Downers and uppers: While not an interaction the combo is a dangerous path. Phentermine used to diet causes anxiety, taking a tranquilizer, xanax (alprazolam) to counter the anxiety is not logical and can lead to escalating patern of drug use. Sedatives by calming may reverse any benefit from the diet pills. If the diet pill causes so much anxiety that you need another med to counter it, its not worth taking. See a dietician.See 1 more doctor answer
Serious risk!!!: If sertra means sertraline (zoloft), then sertra taken with Phentermine potentially increases the toxicity of the oher significantly, thus possible life-threatening reaction (serotonin syndrome) can occur. As a result, these two in combo should be used with caution. Please consult doc on this one. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
Many reasons: It only works as long as you take it, doesn't teach proper eating and exercise habits, is a controlled substance, has potential major toxicity, can be abused - is that enough?
