There are problems: Phendimetrazine is s sympathomimetic amine related to amphetamines. In addition to loss in appetite it also can increase heart rate and blood pressure. It should not be used if one is pregnant. It is habit forming and if taken for long periods it has to be tapered under a doctors supervision to prevent withdrawal side effects. Largely No, Neither: Most Rx & OTC Wt products not good. Victoza (liraglutide) +/- Symlin can help. Body is constantly tearing itself down, thus ?ing body mass/wt. If we eat less than this, wt goes down. Thus weigh daily to 0.1 lb, after up & commode, record & review previous day to see what does/does not works. Building muscle mass really helps.
