Is alprostadil cream available online?

Maybe but need rx: Alprostadil is a prescription only medication. The fda has not yet approved a cream version (vivus is studying vitaros) so you won't find it at your neighborhood cvs, target or walgreens. However, a compounding pharmacy might be able to make it for you as directed by a physician's prescription. I really wouldn't trust the online places that offer to sell it to you w/o doctor's visit/prescription. ...Read more

Infergen use after pegasys (peginterferon alfa 2a) failure appropriate?

Infergen use after pegasys (peginterferon alfa 2a) failure appropriate?

Not really: I am assuming you are asking about hepatits c treatment. Infergen is an old type of interferon. Data suggest that Infergen has little or no benefit after Pegasys (peginterferon alfa 2a) failure. There are new oral medications. These medications (pills) along with Pegasys (peginterferon alfa 2a) and Ribavirin has very good response rate, if you are infected with type i hepatitis c virus. Response rate is doubled from previous treatment. ...Read more
