I had scabies. I used many times permethrin cream and lindane lotion. Now I don't feel ithing just I feel they crawing in my body. Is it normal?

Scabies and Skin: Many doctors say that, "as anxiety increases, your specific anxiety symptom increases---your skin sensations become more severe". It's a vicious cycle: when you're afraid of the skin crawling sensation occurring, your mind obsesses, and you end up feeling the skin crawling sensation again. It may be a symptom of your anxiety of having scabies.

How long take elimite (permethrin) to work?

How long take elimite (permethrin) to work?

Elimite (permethrin): Hello Vaidehibi. If you are taking Elimite (permethrin) for scabies, it starts to work with that one time application but may require a second application one week later. Also, it can take 2-3 weeks for the bumps and itching to resolve. Over the counter anti-itch creams used as directed can help in the mean time. Also important to eliminate sources of scabies in the home to prevent re-infection. Best wishes.
