Which fillers last longer: restylane, (dermal fillers) juvederm, teosyal, esthelis, aquamid, or bio alcamid?

Which fillers last longer: restylane, (dermal fillers) juvederm, teosyal, esthelis, aquamid, or bio alcamid?

I avoid "permanent": Though Aquamid (and others)is not available in the US, it is in other countries. (if it's being offered in the US you should avoid that office altogether). I generally recommend that my patients avoid permanent fillers though, especially when they are young like you, because you don't know how your face will change over the next 20 years. You may end up with volume where you don't want or need it. ...Read more

Are Restylane (dermal fillers) and juvaderm effective?

Definitely: Dermal fillers like juvederm and Restylane (dermal fillers) work by restoring volume to the skin or fat beneath the skin that has been lost because of aging or repetitive motion. Restoring this lost volume softens facial creases, resulting in a more rested/more youthful appearance. ...Read more

Which dermal filler procedures last longer?

Dermal fillers: Df all last about the same time. The minimal differences are just for marketing purposes. The truth is that fillers are a good way to assess how you feel with the volume restoration. You can continue with fillers once they wear off or, if you like the result, you can get fat injections that are more longer lasting. ...Read more

How do botox and Restylane (dermal fillers) injections differ?

How do botox and Restylane (dermal fillers) injections differ?

Different drugs: Botox is what we call a neurotoxin. It's a purified protein that blocks the transmission of a signal from the nerve ending to the muscle. By doing so, it allows the muscle to relax and in turn, it gives the skin a chance to relax and the wrinkles disappear. Restylane (dermal fillers) is a hyaluronic acid that is injected under the skin to fill depressions. It's usually used to reduce laugh lines or plump the lips. ...Read more

I get cheeks with Restylane (dermal fillers) filler or perlane filler. How long filler lasts?

I get cheeks with Restylane (dermal fillers) filler or perlane filler. How long filler lasts?

Filler Duration: In my experience, hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane (dermal fillers) and Perlane last about 9 months up to and just over 12 months when used for cheek augmentation. Perlane should last somewhat longer than Restylane (dermal fillers) due to it's more heavily crosslinked ha design. ...Read more

How does botox or Restylane (dermal fillers) treatment work?

How does botox or Restylane (dermal fillers) treatment work?

Differently!: Botox and Restylane (dermal fillers) are not similar at all and they are not interchangeable. Botox relaxes the muscles under the skin which allows the skin to move less and have less wrinkles. Motion wrinkles go away quickly, resting wrinkles take multiple treatments. Restylane (dermal fillers) is filler that replaces lost volume in the face. It works great for fixing facial contour, it does very little for wrinkles. ...Read more

Can radiesse (dermal fillers) be dangerous? Does anyone ever have serious reactions to radiesse (dermal fillers)?

.

Radiesse (dermal fillers) : Radiesse might be the safest to inject due to its lack of reactions/side-effects. The biggest problem with Radiesse is that it is not a reversible procedure without surgery. I love the product and it is my #1 choice for naso-labial folds. It is a little more expensive that juvederm and restylane, (dermal fillers) but last twice as long. Make sure your dr is very experienced with radiesse. Ask for before & after photos.
