I am using blackhead removal strips but my blackheads are too deep into my skin to benefit. How should I bring them to the surface without any product?

Not mechanically: Any mechanical removal of blackheads has probability of causing tissue damage which may lead to scarring. You will need combination of oral and topical medicines to reduce the bacteria causing acne and exfoliate the skin. A prime consult will help us determine the correct combination for you!

Neither: Acne and blackheads are usually best treated by topical medications or chemical peels. Blackheads can be extracted in a controlled environment while getting a peel or microdermabrasion.

Can acne scars/blackheads scar be permanent? Need expert opinions!

Can acne scars/blackheads scar be permanent? Need expert opinions!

Yes: PhotoGuy is a quarterback who has major disfigurement because nobody cared enough to manage his acne when he was a teen. The same is true of actor Chris Pine -- he usually hides his scars with beard stubble. This remains a serious personal and professional liability. Please get treated effectively. Acne is not curable until it self-cures with time, but it is always manageable.

What to do if I have acne scars ranging from 2007-2013 and blackhead scars that range from 2010-2013 can this be permanent?

What to do if I have acne scars ranging from 2007-2013 and blackhead scars that range from 2010-2013 can this be permanent?

Scarring: Some acne scars can shrink and fade over time on their own. However, some do not, and then treatment such as laser resurfacing or dermabrasion may be done. A doctor can provide evaluation and tell you what the options are.

I've got a lot of blackheads on my nose and some on my forehead and cheeks. How do I remove them and preferably prevent them permanently?

Acne: Acne is age related, most of the adolescents get acnes, can continue to adulthood and over time goes away. It is not due to hygiene issue. Management of acne is to keep it under control, no one time medicine to cure it permanently. Use benzoyl peroxide 5-10% every evening. Can use prescriptin meds if not getting better, see a dermatologist.

How to remove a blackhead?

How to remove a blackhead?

Blackhead treatment: A blackhead occurs when the opening to a hair follicle is blocked with dead skin cells, oil (sebum) +/- bacteria but the pore is open at the skin surface, allowing the material to darken. I recommend that you see a skin care specialist- spa or medical aesthetician for the instant gratification of "removing" it. For ongoing management, opt for a topical agent to accelerate skin cell turnover.

Some ideas: You'll smell delicious. Probably best is to ask your doctor for a safe sterile method - perhaps a druggist has something, but here's a site you can read. Http://www. Wikihow. Com/Remove-Blackheads Avoid dirt - infection or being too rough. Scarring is not a good idea. Be clean and gentle and patient. Best!

Why can't you pop a blackhead?

Why can't you pop a blackhead?

Scarring.: Nearly all acne scarring is caused by people squeezing their pimples. So if you like having scars on your face, go right ahead. If you don't, keep your hands off of your face.
