See a doctor: You did not mention where is your compression fracture, what is the cause and has there been a recent imaging study. The concern is there may be some form of compression wither at the cord or at the nerve root level. Could be...: Plantar fascitis if the pains occur mainly in the heel area and even possibly the arch. It could also be generalized arthritis and a number of other possibilities. Take the insoles out of your shoes and replace them with ones that have more arch support. The one i recommend most is the spenco polysorb cross-trainer insole. This would depend :
On which nerve, location of entrapment and method of destruction. One can use chemicals, can heat the tissue or freeze it to ablate it. If you are in pain, i would think the reward outweighs the risk.
