I'm 11 days late on my period and just found out that I have and ovarian cysts would that be the cause of my delay period. Tube tied not clip and burn.
Usually ovarian cysts does not cause delay in periods untill unless they make hormones and pump them into your blood which is a remote and highly unlikely possibility.

Anxiety maybe?: Anxiety could cause a period to be late.....of course, pregnancy could cause a period to be VERY LATE....but one would think that a tied tube would prevent such a thing....unfortunately, tied tubes is never 100% sure especially since there is still a functional ovary. Yes: Tubal ligation is very effective at preventing pregnancy but no contraceptive method is 100% effective. Therefore, if your cycle is delayed you should check a pregnancy test or even see you gynecologist for blood pregnancy test because if you are pregnant there is a chance it could be a tubal pregnancy and that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. ...Read more

Rule out pregnancy:
Patients with history of sterilization and sexually active, have 1 percent failure rate for this procedure. In your case, you are already two weeks late from your menses. The ideal thing to do are:
1. Get a serum hcg and if positive;
2. Get a pelvic ultrasound for date, location and rule out ectopic pregnancy.
