1 week before thought was period cramping on pill but don't take same time period lasted 5 days when usually 7 now im cramping still?
Many possibilities: What did you use for protection? If it didn't include condoms, the prostaglandins which are in prostate fluid, one component of the ejaculate, can cause cramping. Sometimes the position during intercourse can cause muscle cramps. It is also possible that the cramping is intestinal and not gynecological. Hope this helps some. ...Read more

Can I take 1000mg of magnesium a day? It's 250% of my RDA. I want to take it daily for bad period cramping. Is it ok?
Yes, however...: There is no danger in taking too much magnesium (unless you have kidney failure). The only side effect you are likely to encounter is diarrhea/loose stools if you take more than you can absorb. If you take a well-absorbed form you may not need to take that much. I advise Magnesium glycinate or taurate for optimal absorption. See http://drcarolyndean.com/magnesium_miracle/ for more info. ...Read more
I being cramping so bad and my period ended 2 days ago!! Is not a normal cramping is diffent than period cramping what can it be???
I am a 24yr old female with constant right side lower pain above hip.Feels like period cramping but 10x worse hurts to move what could it be?
PELVIC PAIN: Assuming you have no gastrointestinal symptoms , chronic diarrhea, etc. At your age, most likely related to an ovarian cyst , endometriosis, etc. Some patients can have "chronic appendicitis" but the pain is not constant. But recurrent. Have to rule out a groin hernia or a hip problem. A pelvic ultrasound, a good clinical exam and perhaps even a laparoscopy could help solve the issue. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I always have this period cramp on my first day of period (regular). After my ovary was removed, i still have period cramp? Why ? Is it normal?
Cramps: It's very common to have cramping on the first or second day of your period. Some women take medications like Advil for relief. If you have prolonged or excessive bleeding or irregular periods or persistent pain throughout your period, consult your gynecologist for evaluation. Endometriosis can cause a great deal of discomfort during menses. My guess is that you are having simple period cramping. ...Read more

Day 8 of my FET IVF cycle and having severe cramping. This happened with my last failed cycle. Am i having period cramping?
My cycles are usually 24/26 days long and my period lasts about 7 days. Had unprotected inter course the last dayof my period. Cramping ever since. 6d?
Probably normal: Each month when you ovulate, there is a cyst on one of your ovaries at least 2 CM in dia. That cyst starts to develope while you are having your period, and continues to enlarge until you ovulate - in your case about 10 or 12 days after your last period started. 14 days later, if you don't conceive, you will start your next period. That cyst may enlarge, up to 6 or 8 CM and may cause your cramps. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
