Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

That being said, typically negative urine preg means not pregnant, the only way to be sure is to see your doctor and have a beta quantitative HCG blood test. Best of luck. ...Read more

6 days late period but negative pregnancy test... Im not stressing...Could i be pregnant?...

6 days late period but negative pregnancy test... Im not stressing...Could i be pregnant?...

Trust the test: A pregnancy test can detect a bhcg of about 20. Your bhcg roughly doubles every 48 hours. Let's say the first day you took it you were barely pregnant with a level of 19. 48 hours later your bhcg would be 38 which is way above the level for a urine pregnancy test to detect it. Home tests work really well and can be trusted. Repeat and if negative then you are not pregnant. ...Read more

I'm 23 yrs old. 3 week late period then light bleeding for 3 days. Negative pregnancy test the week before. Can it still be a possible pregnancy?

Unlikely: It sounds like you experienced an "anovulatory" cycle. When ovulation occurs, your cycle predictably happens about 14 days later. When it does not occur or is delayed, then you get a delay in your period, irregular bleeding and negative pregnancy tests. This can all be confusing. This should be discussed with your ob/gyn. ...Read more
