My period cramps are getting worse with time to the point of stopping me in my tracks so I can't walk at times. Should I see doctor. I'm perimenapause?

Good luck! ...Read more

I'm having a sort of grinding feeling during my period in my left ovary. Is it related to perimenopause or a symptom of something else?

Grinding feeling: Definitely not a sign of menopause. Possibly it is a cramp from the tube on that side as periods are associated with cramping pain. If the feeling resolves on its own and no other symptoms present and the discomfort is not that bad, i'd just watch it. ...Read more

I'm currently on CD62. Usually my cycle is 60. I experienced small spotting last night, but no period as per normal. I'm very worried. Perimenopause?

Unlikely: Your cycles are abnormally long at 60 days and I think someone should look into that but you are very young for this to be perimenopause at 28. The perimenopause is usually the 5 years before and the 5 years after your last period (when you run out of eggs). Menopause before age 40 is considered premature and is abnormal. Check a pregnancy test and see a doctor to help explain the long cycles. ...Read more

Cramping last day of really strange period (began 10 days after last one). Highly doubtful I'm pregnant. Possible perimenopause or...? I'm 43.

More info: It's possible but unlikely you're in the perimenopause. Unless early menopause runs in your family, it's likely hormonal or due to lesion in uterus. Average age menopause is 51, so 43 quite early. You may want to see gyn md for consultation. Check thyroid, ultrasound and consider biopsy of uterus. It's unlikely, but at 43 if you have more than 1 period a month biopsy may be necessary. ...Read more
