See your doctor: The murmur may indicate a valve problem, or a septal defect (hole in the heart) or another congenital heart abnormality. An echocardiogram would be a good place to start after an examination. ...Read more

Change in BP: There is a possible link here to a condition called orthostatic hypotension. In this condition, the blood pressure is poorly maintained in the standing position, causing lightheadedness and sometimes weakness. Lying down normally helps.
