Perforated Colon After Colonoscopy Why Cant I Collect Damages
I can poop but then I'll feel incomplete in my bowel movement I take colon cleanse to clean out my stomach?
See a doctor: Gastrointestinal bleeding can have many potential causes, including hemorrhoids, ulcers, gastritis, diverticulosis, and cancer. Taking omeprazole and having hep c are probably unrelated to the rectal bleeding. Rectal bleeding as well as the cause can be serious, so see a doctor right away. ...Read more

2nd day after colon&endoscopy an stomach hurts bout 4-5 pain scale constant ache urge to poop but can't had polyps removed told to young to have norm?
Maybe not okay...: Air used to inflate your colon ; permit inspection during the colonoscopy procedure may persist for several hours. Post polypectomy syndrome can occur at sites of electrocautery. Microperforations, colon abrasions, laceration or trauma to adjacent solid organs may not be readily apparent at onset. Fever, bleeding, abdominal tenderness, weakness, vomiting are worrisome signs. Call GI doc for help. ...Read more
A year ago i felt bowel perforation symptoms for 2 days after using anal toys. My irksome bowels beg the question: did i really hurt my colon or anus?
??Perforation??: If you had bowel perforation that went untreated you would not survive! if you scratched/scraped/cut some of the inner surfaces in your rectal area it obviously healed to some degree but may have left some scarred tissue. If you cut the muscles within the anus, it could cause a stricture or a difficult to close outlet. A simple rectal exam by your doc could provide better info & help you improve. ...Read more
27/f constipation no family of colon ca had chronic constipation colonoscopy done showed sessile serrated adenoma so scared! why? Am i going to get ca
Not anymore: Polyps are benign if removed early like you have done. Only if you neglect them and let them grow, they can change into cancer. You should be fine, but your doctor would likely advise you to have repeat colonoscopy every 5 years or at least every 10 years because there is small risk of developing new polyps . But there is no reason to worry about cancer as long as you are having colonoscopy as advi. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Low stomach pain possibly bowel issues! I have ibs. Dr couldn't do colonoscopy due to a narrowing so i had barium enama instead. No cancer so nothing?
Maybe diverticulosis: If they were unable to get through for a colonoscopy, it could be diverticular disease (this should have been in your barium enema report if true, so ask you doctor. If so, that can cause discomfort. So can constipation, which may be related to the narrowing. Increase fiber and fluids. Acacia fiber is better tolerated in ibs than other fibers, can be ordered online if not available near you. ...Read more
I've had 4 colon cleanses and still feel constipated after the doctor told me that I have backed up stool in my system. What could it be?
Had an x-ray yet?: Healthtap physicians have repeatedly addressed this subject with a clear "no" answer to your question. There is virtually no value to colon flushes, cleansers, enemas, irrigation machines when the technique is accomplished to "detox" or eliminate "accumulated waste" or for weight loss. There are few real health benefits, but sigificant unjustified risk. Don't use colonics please unless prescribed. ...Read more
Had perforated colon. 5 inches descending colon removed. Do i still need to follow a diet for diverticulosis ?
Eat well...: It's never too late to start eating well. At 45 with a history of diverticulitis, i'd recommend a broad diet with adequate fibre, and try to lower your fat content. It wouldn't hurt to add a cheap bulk laxative. You don't need to avoid seeds or salads, though I do suggest you limit your intake of nuts and popcorn - not an absolute moratorium, just not a daily diet. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I have hemorrhoids anal fissures. cuts in rectum hurting making bowel movement on/off since February how to fix this? can't do banding cause fissures
Barium enma test requires I drink a prep & enema 4 evacuation. But I have an ostomy bag and stoma. Should I take the prep if my rectum is inactive?
Yes: I will say "yes" because you put out stool through your colostomy bag and therefore it needs to be removed before barium enema. The only question i really have is why would you need to have barium enema to evaluate your colon when you can have colonoscopy? When barium enema is done on people without colostomy, they are usually expected to contract their anal sphincter to hold it. What about you? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Rectum burns when I have bowel movements. Feel like I am gonna have diarrhea. Have internal/ external hemorrhoids and fissures. Colonoscopy n endoscopy clean. What to do about burning and diarrhea?
I have constipation bloating gas at times my stool is long and thin or pebles when i poop my colon expan and it makes pee how can u kill that parasit?
Chronic constipation: Think about your colon! it moves that heavy load of old stool. Help it with a bowel regimen, to get 2 soft bowel movements daily. Hydrate with water, tea, juice up to 1.5 l daily, fiber tablets, probiotics, laxatives (milk of magnesium or miralax), stool softeners, and walking make up best bowel regimens. If you have fever or vomiting, get evaluated with your doc. Colonoscopy age 50. ...Read more
Stool sat in rectum overnight so constipated took mirilax and 2 suppositories since yesterday rectum and colon hurts so bad I can't even sit?
Enema: Miralax (polyethylene glycol) or any laxatives won't help. You have to work from below. Since glycerin rectal suppository did not help, try administering a fleets enema or a gentle soap suds enema. If not successful and you're still very uncomfortable, you'll need to be manually disimpacted in the hospital emergency room. ...Read more

Bleeding from rectum, negative colonoscopy, gastrointestinal Dr is puzzled....any ideas? Nearly every time I got to the bathroom says even hemroids ok
Why? : Why the puzzle I can guarantee you you have a fissure that is causing the bleeding . First negative colonoscopy is a good news you eliminate the cancer or any other causes of GI bleeding . Try to keep your bowls soft and not to worry about it the bleeding will keep happening on and off . Nothing you can do about it you can always ask for a Colo- Rectal surgeon opinion ...Read more

I had inguinal hernia surgery 2 days back.i can't poop properly ..just farting.what i can do ?each time i feel and ready to poop i can't cause of pain
Hydrate/stool soften: Make sure you stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of fluid - about 2L per day, especially while recovering from surgery. If you are taking narcotic pain medication, you should also take a stool softener which may help, such as colace (docusate sodium). And most of all, don't worry, the poop will come out soon. If the problem gets worse, call your surgeon. Hope this helps! ...Read more
