Can help cramps, but: Peppermint tea can decrease muscle contractions in the gut. May help with spasm in bowel. Can decrease muscle contractions in lower esophageal aphincter which could increase reflux (back flow), and heartburn symptoms. Enteric coated peppermint oil may be helpful as an adjunct rx. OK as far as known: There is relatively research on the interactions of drugs and herbs but I am not aware of any evidence that thyroxine and peppermint tea interact.
