Can help cramps, but: Peppermint tea can decrease muscle contractions in the gut. May help with spasm in bowel. Can decrease muscle contractions in lower esophageal aphincter which could increase reflux (back flow), and heartburn symptoms. Enteric coated peppermint oil may be helpful as an adjunct rx.
