Is it safe to take Ranitidine and famotidine together? And is it unsafe to take more than two tablets of the Pepcid Complete in a 24 hour time period?
No-discuss w ur doc: These two medicines are of the same class and should not be taken together. More is not necessarily better and increases risk of side effects. Probably but why?: With generic versions available, it is cheap enough to not to worry over the cost. I am unaware of expired Pepcid (famotidine) causing harms although it may be less effective.
