How long does the effect of a fluphenazine injection last?

How long does the effect of a fluphenazine injection last?

Depends . . .: Fluphenazine is an antipsychotic that can be given as a normal injection w/half-life of 15hrs or a long-acting injection w/half-life of 6-10 days depending upon the chemical formulation. We typically guesstimate that a chemical takes 5 half-lives to get out of your system, so the effect of an injection could be anywhere from a few days to two months. ...Read more

How long is 25 hour half life?

How long is 25 hour half life?

Depends.: I am assuming you are talking about the half life of a drug. A drug with a 25 hours half life means that after 25 hours, the blood concentration of the drug will be halved. So at hour zero it's 100%. At 25 hours , the concentration is 50%. At 50 hours, it's 25%. At 75 hours, it's 12.5% etc. Please note that using half lives is an oversimplification and doesn't always correlate with drug effect. ...Read more

What happens if i think the worse scenario very often and i feel this is deteriorating my life. How do I stop it and interact more with life?

What happens if i think the worse scenario very often and i feel this is deteriorating my life. How do I stop it and interact more with life?

Anxiety Disorder: Anticipation of worst happening (even if it is exceedingly unlikely) is a symptom of anxiety disorder. This is a distortion of the normal fight or flight response every human is endowed with. Your brain seems to be wired for flight for any environmental stimulus, no matter how trivial. If this is so, see doctor for exam & to formulate a therapeutic plan to include counseling & medication as needed. ...Read more

How to identify suitable skincare product for a combination skin?

How to identify suitable skincare product for a combination skin?

Find the right doc: I feel strongly about this topic, because unfortunately there are too many pros that fall victim to the same hype that the general public does. Find someone who truly believes in good scientifically- based skin care that can truly make a difference, not the newest fad. If they can't explain it to you in terms that make sense, move on. There is no substitute for good medicine, especially in skin. ...Read more

I need to take Elmiron (pentosan) and the cost is so high,, have no insurance. Most drugstores want accept coupons or discounts either.Do you have any answers.

A few thoughts: If you have no insurance, perhaps you can try and contact your State to see if they participate in the Accountable Care Act. Some pharmaceutical companies have compassionate aid for those who need their products but cannot afford them - contact the company for assistance. Also check with your local public health agency or charity hospital. Finally check the charity dealing with your illness. ...Read more
