I do not see any reason to worry about other medications, you need to avoid. When we say allergy, we mean a reaction due to presence of a specific antibody that causes symptoms of allergy. At times: Talwin (pentazocine) is a good pain med the IM, IV, and SC route and works well most of the time. The oral med is fairly good at pain control and has naloxone in it as it is a product for abuse so the added me inhibits its effect and makes it not usable as a illegal use.
