May be normal: Depending on what kind of reaction to penicillin you had, 3 weeks out from a reaction, it may be reasonable for your skin to still feel more sensitive. Usually this occurs in patients with delayed type reaction to penicillin. If you still feel that you are having symptoms you should see the doctor that diagnosed your penicillin allergy. Yes, and see below: So yes you can take vitamins while on antibiotics. The rationale is that when you go on system antibacterial agents like that you wipe out healthy flora in your gut and elsewhere. Vitamins, pro-vitamins and growth factors are synthesized by bacterial carpets (ie some B vitamins, riboflavin, thiamine, co-enzyme I & II and pyridoxine to name several).
