Time and bracing: Time is really the only "cure". Bracing the pelvic girdle with a sacral band can help. Physical therapy is a real help in instructing you on what to do and how to decrease the pain. Physical activity?: You obviously have a good grasp on anatomy. However, you didn't specify what you've done in the last few days that might cause it. Therein may lie the answer. See md asap: Assuming you mean vaginal bleeding, see gyn, to make sure you don't have a potentially serious uterine or ovarian problem (including cancer). If you mean rectal bleeding, see GI doc to check for colorectal issues, including inflammation, polyps, cancer. Lots of Reasons: When pregnant, there are so many things going on. Your hormones are very different causing your ligaments to stretch quite a bit especially in the pelvis resulting in pain. Also the baby's position can place stress on your spine resulting in bulging discs or even herniated disks causing the sciatica pain.
