GBS can cause UTI: Group B strep can cause UTI. If the culture was properly collected (i.e. a good "clean catch" specimen), and especially if more than one culture has been positive and/or you have typical UTI symptoms, treatment usually would be prescribed. UTI usually shows elevated urinary leukocytes, but there probably are exceptions. Maybe seek consult with a specialist, e.g. infectious diseases. Good luck! ...Read more

Needs evaluation...: Please see a doctor and have these lesions evaluated. An er physician may be able to evaluate and see how urgent this problem is and test for pelvic infections that need prompt treatment. Most will refer to an gyn physician to start the work up to rule out cancer. Check and see if there is a medical center with a gyn residency program in area. See a doctor: You seem to have more than a single problem, perhaps three different issues, although they may in some fashion be related. You should see a doctor ASAP. No.: Pelvic pain in pregnancy can be normal due to requirements of your hip bones to shift to support the weight of your growing baby. Vaginal burning however is never normal and in the setting of vaginal leaking needs to be evaluated by a doctor. Probably not serious: Any significant illness often makes people more aware of minor aches and pains that don't necessarily indicate any medical problem. With normal pelvic ultrasound, it is unlikely you still any kind of serious problem from your PID. However, you don't provide much detail. Pelvic inflammatory-: 21 y/o female says can't explain feeling in lower abdomen. Weird burning sensation in my pelvis for about 2 weeks. PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disorder) of some type has to be considered in resolving these issues.
