How would I calculate the calories burned from weight training? (deadlifts, bench, squats, etc...)
Apps: There is actually a pretty cool app called myfitnesspal available for free on iOS and Android (methyltestosterone). I used this when I had to lose weight safely for a sport by a certain time period. It allows you to calculate in calories and nutrients in, and your exercises are searchable. It won't be exact, but it gives a good estimate and it does work well. It's free, you've got nothing to lose... but weight! ...Read more
Yes, sort of...: It is impossible to specify the area of fat loss based on a particular exercise. Cardiovascular exercise like jumping rope, if done for long enough and if paired with proper diet, can lead to fat loss and thus weight loss, but the fat loss likely won't be primarily from the inner thighs. Your best bet is diet and exercise for overall weight loss, and you will lose some of that inner thigh fat too. ...Read more

M 22 year old girl virgin. I do heavy weight training exercises in gym can doing squats, lunges,& exercising on leg press machine in gym break hymen?
No, but...: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So, ignore the hymen. Usually, only in cases of alleged sexual assault upon girls and women do we physicians engage in the careful examination of hymens, collecting evidence of physical damage to be used later in courts of law. In normal everyday life, people should not be "checking hymens" nor thinking about whether they are broken or not broken. ...Read more

1 lb = 3500 calories: Given above formula, figure your expending 500 calories a day and your body expends about 1800 calories baseline, so, at 2300 calories intake your weight will stay the same. 30min running on treadmill & 1hr full body, medium-high intensity workout at the gym 4x a week. On average how long until I start to look more toned?
Depends: Being "tone" is dependent on multiple factors including your body fat percentage/lean muscle mass percentage as well as genetics. Some individuals are genetically inclined to have those "6-pack" abs, while others can strengthen their abs forever and be thin, but never get that 6-pack appearance. I would think though within one month that you would notice a change in your physical appearance. ...Read more
