How much does a pediatrician visit at a health clinic cost without an insurance card ?

How much does a pediatrician visit at a health clinic cost without an insurance card ?

Depends: Fees are generally based on what is being done. New patient visits often take more time and may include vaccinations or tests. These extras add cost. A simple sick visit for an earache might require just a simple exam and treatment plan.I would plan on a minimum of $75-100 with most of the cost going to pay the doctors overhead costs. ...Read more

Is it best to see a pediatrician at a health clinic for genital herpes or a gynecologist ?

THe important thing is for you to get seen and treated. Family planning clinics are often a good place to go to keep expenses down and to ensure confidentiality. ...Read more

Pediatrician forgot to tell me to give baby vitamin d supplements (exclusively breastfed). Now 6 weeks old. Health problem for baby?

No worries!: There has likely not been any harm done to your baby. Just go ahead and start the d-visol drops now at 1ml daily. I've had parents forget or refuse to give it and the babies are ok. Nonetheless, it is still preferred to supplement with a vitamin d drop to prevent rickets in infants. ...Read more

What happens if you file a complaint with the american board of pediatrics?

Pediatricians are extremely interested in helping your child and can even suggest second opinions. The abp maintains specialty certification, the worst they could do was revoke certificaiton, but not a medical license to practice. ...Read more

Pediatrics only. Feel rushing fluids and gurgling in 6wk babe. I hv very fast milk she drinks 90 gulps in 90 seconds and full.Causing peristalsis?

Normal:-) : 6 week olds have very loud gurgly tummies. I call them "volcano belly". This is normal and is not related to the speed of your milk flow, though yours does sound fast. Persistalsis is the term for the normal movement of the intestines. So yes, the milk is causing peristalsis because it is supposed to. If your baby is gaining weight easily, relax mama and enjoy your 90 second speed feedings. ...Read more
