Please share: There are two things this could be: a common, benign, hemangioma (a cherry tumor of extra blood vessels that are common on skin with age) or a skin cancer. Most cancers on the skin can be cut out and then not bother one again. Getting them gone is simple and is so much better than letting something simple become life threatening. Sounds like you have: An enlarged lymph node. You are correct about watching it. Not to worry but watch it for 2 weeks and inform your pcp. If its getting bigger or becomes painful, see the pcp sooner. ...Read more

Possible : Ganglion, but, since i can't see it, i would recommend you have it checked out to make sure the "lump" is indeed a benign lesion. ...Read more
