A few weeks ago i noticed a pea sized hard lump under my arm. No pain, no redness, no visual sign of anything. Should i get my physician to check it ?
Yes: Unsure of where specifically you are speaking of, but it could be a lymph node and unsure if you are male or female as I do not see it above, but axillary lymph node swelling needs to be checked. It may be absolutely nothing to worry about, and most likely is, but it would be best to rule out scary things first. Is it in your armpit? Any breast masses? At your age the only malignancy that is at all likely to present like this is Hodgkin's, and this would be unlikely to progress this slowly. Get seen when it is convenient. ...Read more

I'd Bet It's Sweat: May be small areas of infection.Sweat glands can get irritated or clogged then get bigger & painful. For some people it can become a big recurring problem so best to get it examined if,unlike the other side, it doesn't resolve in a few days.Until then, see if you are sensitive to your deodorant. The topical antibacterial gels with aloe work well but if you sweat a lot you may need something milder. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
