What is a pea size lump on my vagina?

What is a pea size lump on my vagina?

Inclusion cyst: The most likely explanation is something called a sebaceous inclusion cyst. If it looks like a blister or is painful, then herpes must be considered. The best way to confirm what it is is to schedule an appointment.

Barth gland abscess: If it gets bigger or starts bothering you more you might need to see an OBGYN and get it drained.

Possible Abscesses: It sounds like you may have some abscesses with or without cellulitis. You may need antibiotics and possible drainage of the abscesses if they are fully formed. In the meantime analgesia like paracetamol and ibuprofen will help but also running the area under hot water and soap as often as it is convenient should help. You should let a doctor take a look at it.

I have a small pea sized hard lump in my vagina that was never there before following the birth of my son and an abnormal pap should I be concerned?

I have a small pea sized hard lump in my vagina that was never there before following the birth of my son and an abnormal pap should I be concerned?

Yes: The two conditions, a vaginal mass and an abnormal PAP, may or may not be related. In all likelihood, they are unrelated. But, the abnormal PAP must be have followup exam (s) and or tests. The lump may be some scarring from the birth. Especially if you needed some stitches for a vaginal tear. Again, an exam is necessary and an excisional biopsy may be warranted.

Infected bartholin: It may be infected bartholin cyst or some other infection and needs to be checked by your doctor or a gynecologist as it may need antibiotics.

See an OB/GYN: Cannot speculate on possible diagnoses without the ability to see and examine this. See a doctor.

Found huge lump on vagina wall, bout an inch into the vagina and it's about quarter sized, very painful, rock hard? Can someone tell me what this is?

See your doctor: See your doctor as soon as possible to get it diagnosed, it could be an infected cyst or an infected bartholin cyst but a doctor would need to examine you to make the diagnosis and treat it.

Hatd lump on vagina it looks like aboil...herpes?

Hatd lump on vagina it looks like aboil...herpes?

Probably not herpes: Herpes doesn't cause things like this. Herpes lesions are superficial -- blisters, pimples, and sores that are sort of like "on" the skin. Boils, typical acne, etc well up from below; think of them as starting "in" the skin. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but a single large boil is never herpes. But see a doctor if you remain concerned and/or at risk for STDs. Good luck!

Pea-size hard lump on the outside of my vagina, what is this?

Sight (site) unseen: Unfortunately, you need a MD to evaluate the "bump" and determine what it is as we cannot see it in this forum.

I have found a pea sized lump on the left side of vagina wall. What can this be? It doesn't hurt, it just feels hard.

Get checked: Probably not anything dangerous but to be certain you should have it looked at by your GYN. Hope this helps.

I found a small lump on the outside of my vagina - it feels like it could be a cyst - when I pinch it, it hurts, the size of a pea. Should I be concern?

Maybe: Lumps on the vulva can be an infection, ingrowth hair, benign cyst, and the list goes on. You should have your doctor examine it.

Need examination: This is one of those questions that requires an examination by a doctor. There are so many possibilities. Without an examination it's hard to say what it is. A small cyst or folliculitis is what it sounds like but an Obgyn will need to see it to determine the next steps.

I have a small pea sized hard lump on the back inside of my vagina. No really painful. Do I need to have to looked at right away or monitor it awhile?

I have a small pea sized hard lump on the back inside of my vagina. No really painful. Do I need to have to looked at right away or monitor it awhile?

Monitoring OK: So long as the lump is not causing you any problems and not growing, it may be safe to wait and watch. You're young an so long as you don't have a history of immune deficiency or STDs, it might just be a vaginal cyst which will not harm you at your age. I would still pursue routine GYN care though.

I have a small lump in side the wall. Of my vagina not painful and it's the size of a pea or so. I just recently had a pap smear and all normal?

Bartholin cyst: What you described is likely to be a cyst due to blockage of the duct of a gland. It is not a cause for concern, unless it gets infected. If it does not get bigger, is not painful, then you may wait till your next visit to the doctor to have it examined. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

I have a lump the size of a green pea on the inside far right of my vagina that I can feel when I put my finger in straight? Been there now for 4wks.

I have a lump the size of a green pea on the inside far right of my vagina that I can feel when I put my finger in straight? Been there now for 4wks.

Bartholins cyst: This could be a bartholins cyst if its near or just inside the entrance of the vagina. A Bartholin's gland cyst is a swollen fluid-filled lump that develops from a blockage of one of the Bartholin's glands, which are small glands located on each side of the opening to the vagina. Bartholin's gland cysts and abscesses are commonly found in women of reproductive age. See your doctor for exam.
