5dpo got a positive ovulation test and a negative pregnancy test I know I don't have pcos I have two sons already and had two miscarriages?
As expected: You stop doing ovulation kits after it turns positive because it will stay positive for awhile. If you are having regular periods and your ovulation tests show you are ovulating there is simply no value or utility in repeating them. One would not expect a positive pregnancy test until at least 10 days after but cheaper just to wait and see if you miss your period before taking a test. ...Read more

Not likely: A cyst from PCOS will not cause a positive pregnancy test. You can, however, have some false results on occasion. Last month, had false positive pregnancy test, And discovered a cyst on my ovary, this month have been spotting for 2 weeks. Should I be worried?
False positive...: ...pregnancy tests are uncommon. I'm assuming you had an ultrasound that confirmed the test was a false negative. You should repeat the test and see your doctor again if it's positive. Rarely, something besides a pregnancy can cause a positive test. You should "worry" enough to get follow up care, but not so much that you lose sleep over this. A single cyst on the ovary isn't a concern. ...Read more
