How much weight do i have to lose to see an improvement in PCOS and naturally regulate my cycles? 240lbs right now
10 %: A goal of 10 % weightloss has shown health improvement. No telling if it will change the PCOS and regulate your cycles. PCOS has been shown to have a genetic component. Birth control pills can regulate your cycle if you are not trying to get pregnant. A 24 pound weight loss would be a goal.See 1 more doctor answer

Not directly: PCOS does not directly cause gallstones but someone with PCOS could coincidentally also have gallstones. Both are fairly common medical issues. Risk factors for both include being female and struggling with weight.
Yes and no: Depo-provera will reduce the multiple ovarian cyst formation and inhibit some of the symptoms of PCOS. The downside is that once the Depo-provera is stopped then the same ovulation difficulties will reappear and spontaneous ovulation/fertility is still a problem Moreover, Depo-provera can cause irregular bleeding/spotting.
Not the same...: PCOS is a metabolic syndrome that is caused by insulin resistance. It results in many symptoms such as extra hair growth, irregular periods, dark skin under arms and around neck, etc. Post-pill amenorrhea is a few months where there is no period after you have been on the pill. Best wishes!
Yes, it can: Infertility is one of the major symptoms of the disease, however that doesn't make you sterile, with treatment of the condition you can get pregnant, best wishes

I was diagnosed a year ago of pcos and now i undergo tvs and resultng that I have intramural myoma? Is it related? Is it psible that i can bear a child
Unrelated: The pcos and the fibroid are unrelated. The pcos implies the brain and the ovaries are onto communicating well. It can take specialized medications to get you to ovulate but usually pregnancy is able to be achieved. The fibroid can cause problems with early pregnancy if the pregnancy were to implant over the fibroid. It might be wise to have the fibroid removed before attempting pregnancy.

Will Medroxyprogesterone increase my pregnancy rate with PCOS? If not what will? I'm ready to have a child and I want to know what is best?
Not alone: Medroxyprogesterone all by itself won't increase your chances of getting pregnant with PCOS. If your PCOS is keeping you from ovulating, you may need to be on a medication to help you ovulate such as Clomid. This is a prescription medication and needs to be prescribed by a doctor. Best wishes!
