No: Your BP is normal and pulse mildly elevated. There can be a number of reasons for ha. Migraines, medicines. You have pcos , are you on birth control, this can sometimes cause migraine. I have pcos and i take metformin tab 800mg daily. I complain of headache due to lowering my blood suger. Is metformin bad? And i want to lose weight.

Metformin good: Coupled with a low glycemic index diet, metformin will never lower blood glucose. You need to increase the metformin dose up to 2.5 g per day. The low blood sugar is being caused by hyperinsulinemia overshoot, and you need more metformin, not less. ...Read more

Eat less, exercise: You need standard wight reduction diet and exercise. Ocp's just give you regular periods, but don't help with pcos, Insulin resistance, infertility, etc. Tx w/metformin works on the cause (insulin resistance) and may help restore normal menses and even fertility for many women. Other medication may be needed if testosterone level is too high. ...Read more

Migraine and stroke: Do you have aura with your migraines? The stroke risk is increased if you have migraine with aura and use estrogen-containing birth control. And the stroke risk increases from very very low in a 19-year-old to still very low but not as low. A pill with less estrogen or a progesterone-only pill would be safer. Also, if you smoke, quit! Some thoughts...: In a woman with regular periods, some causes of a late period include: excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (like birth control pills), hormonal imbalances, etc… Seeing a doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome. Pregnancy is the common cause of a missed period, if sexually active. ...Read more

I have pcos I only have 2-4 period a year! I think I might be pregnant as IV missed my period headaches cramps and bloated.

(reason for GYN): Without actually seeing you, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health. That being said, here's the answer! PCOS = Hormones stuck on High. (just like in pregnancy). Symptoms will totally overlap with pregnancy. Lower pregnancy rate in PCOS (often infertility), but not zero!
