If she has true panic attacks she will be able to describe them and the DX should be clear from this alone. They are not related to depression but to anxiety and a good approach to help such patients is to: have them obtain and read and study a good book on this subject (many out there for the public).

Breast cancer cannot be transferred to another person via a needle that was used to check blood sugar. In fact, it's generally quite difficult to transfer cancer from one person to another, unless they are very immune compromised.
