What could cause pains in my sides and my lower back an what could cause me to crave grapes an corn flakes late at night?

Haven't heard of any: Haven't heard of any disorders that would cause aches and pains in a person's flank areas and lower back area, while at the same time causing a craving for grapes and corn flakes late at night. Cravings can occur with pregnancy, so a urine pregnancy test can be done if sexually active. Of course, cravings could just be from a person staying up late and getting hungry. A visit to the dr. May help.

You maybe!: Chances are that you are allergic to wine, however, grapes can be associated with other allergens: pesticides, yeast/mold, and sulfites. They have identified the allergen for grape as: endochitinase 4a.

Try not to worry: This is common and a big source of confusion and concern for patients. When taking the picture of the breast, tissue sometimes randomly overlaps and will appear denser (white) than it should. This happens roughly 10% of the time. The only way to know this isn't cancer is to take another picture. If it disappears (it usually does) then you know it's tissue overlap, not cancer. I hope this helps!

Dermatology visit: Dermatologists have a variety of treatments including fillers, lasers and abrasion therapies, although nothing can remove a scar. Many women do opt for treatment. First decide whether this is what you want, and if so, good luck.

Sounds like: You are allergic to the items or something in the items. See an allergist and get tested and ask what the new treatments are; there is one now for peanut allergy.

Can taking anioxidents like acai and grape seed extract help clean drugs out of you and your unborn baby?

Can taking anioxidents like acai and grape seed extract help clean drugs out of you and your unborn baby?

No: Avoid herbal supplements during pregnancy. Many have not been studied in pregnancy for effect and dosing and may cause you and your unborn baby some untoward effects. Stick with your prenatal vitamins. These are enough and stay off illicit drugs at all times, during and after the pregnancy. Good luck!

I have a significant increase in pvcs following eating fruit like grapes and plums. I will get them like every 5th beat. Why?

I have a significant increase in pvcs following eating fruit like grapes and plums. I will get them like every 5th beat. Why?

No good answer: It's easy to say, "don't eat grapes and plums! " but, honestly, I'm not aware of any explanation as to why those fruits would precipitate pvcs and I suspect the association may be coincidental. Pvcs are common and can be bothersome - see a family doc or cardiologist.

Skin: Sometimes a hanging piece of skin in this area is a skin tag or an irritated mole. If the area returns a dermatologist should evaluate to make sure there is no sign of skin cancer.

See doctor: Coughing up blood is never normal. There can be many causes for this and some are serious. It may also just be from something minor like a nosebleed, but it would be a good idea for you to see a doctor and let them help you make sure that it is nothing serious.

Sounds like hematoma: Sounds like the kid broke a blood vessel under the skin in this area and has accumulated a blood pocket/hematoma. These are due to localized trauma and may takes weeks to fade. Your doc could confirm this if concerned. There is not much you can do about it.

Found hard lump in bottom of right breast, (grape size) its painful & hurts when touched, could it be cancer? (No other symptoms, breast looks normal)

Found hard lump in bottom of right breast, (grape size) its painful & hurts when touched, could it be cancer? (No other symptoms, breast looks normal)

Breast Lump: All new breast lumps should be examined by a physician. They can be caused by many things - infection, cysts, cancer. Some patients may be feeling ribs or normal breast tissue when they are concerned with a lump. If a person finds a lump that is red or hot - it is more concerning for an infection and they should go to urgent care for evaluation, otherwise make appt with their PCP or GYN.

Bloody tissue: Yes - there are thoughts! Please have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility and they will carefully look after you. Some exams and/or labs would require the Emergency room team to speak to your doctor while you are there. Hope all goes well!
