Passing Mucus After Bowel Movement
Almost every time I have a bowel movement first I pass a lot of mucus (yellow-brown, not clear), the stool is normal. Why that excessive mucus?

It may sound strange but the first thing I think of is to have you go to the nearest Emergency facility. Please have someone drive you there.

Colitis- general term for inflammation of the large intestinal wall, could be from inflammation, infection, auto-immune condition, etc.

Eat more fiber, fruits and veggies and drink more water.
