My son is 2 and presenting classic S&S of parvovirus b19. I know you can only treat symptoms, the rash has subsided. Is a doctors appt necessary?

I am 48 female. Went to Dr, feeling tired, body & muscle aches, swollen feet. Blood work done, T4 16.0& Tsh 0.016 & high parvovirus b19 was 5.4.
