Yes: I would see your doctor. It could be that the infection was not adequately treated with 3 days of cipro (ciprofloxacin). It could also be a parasite or other infectious agent. Usually not obvious: Pinworms are fairly common in this age group. They are small white worms that come out of the anus at night. . If you suspect piworms wait until dark when the child is asleep.
