Give it time: There isn't much you can do to speed up healing. You are 18 and so should heal relatively fast. Just keep area dry and clean and once healed, you may use some vitamine to hopefully minimize scarring. Also, use of sunscreen is important because that area is more susceptible to sun damage. Difficult: Worse that you report is cough. Cannot imaging that air is less than replete with wood dust. Breathing that daily cannot be good. I expect that no filter masks worn or advised.
