Can a hit or waxing done with trimming machine in the groin area, cause swelling of lymph nodes in that region?

Possibly: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well. ...Read more

See his pediatrician: for a thorough history, physical & abdominal X-ray. He may need a "clean-out" before using bulk laxatives to have soft stools every other day for at least 6 mos. When stools are soft, have him sit on the toilet for 15 minutes, 15 minutes after a meal, with his feet supported so his knees are flexed, while blowing bubbles, playing on iPad, etc. Diet &/or low muscle tone are usually the cause. ...Read more
