I got an human papilloma virus vaccination, am I immune from genital warts?

Well no, but: The gardisil vaccine contains types 16 and 18 which cause 2/3rds of all cervical cancer and another half of vaginal, vulvar and anal cancers. I heard human papilloma virus spreads by cunilingus cause throat cancer in men?

I heard human papilloma virus spreads by cunilingus cause throat cancer in men?

Can happen: The HPV virus has been known to be associated with the development of squamous cancer of the cervix. More recently, HPV has been shown to also be associated with oral squamous cancer. Cunilingus is one method. ...Read more

It reduces the risk of anal cancer in boys and girls as well as the risk of cervical cancer in girls. Hopefully it will reduce some other hpv related cancers. The Gardasil hpv also reduces sexually transmitted warts by 90%. ...Read more

Hi, I suffer from reaplasma parvum biovar 1 and ureaplasma ureaticum biovar 2.What are biovars.

Hi, I suffer from reaplasma parvum biovar 1 and ureaplasma ureaticum biovar 2.What are biovars.

Normal bacteria: I doubt you "suffer" from either of these bacteria. Both are entirely normal in the genital tract. "Biovar" is a technical term that doesn't mean anything here. U. parvum is the same as biovar 1, and U. urealyticum the same as biovar 2 -- just different names for the same things. They rarely if ever cause symtoms or disease and no treatment is necessary. Don't worry about it. ...Read more

What type of cell does herpesviridae (herpesvirus) infect in humans?

What type of cell does herpesviridae (herpesvirus) infect in humans?

Skin cells: The herpes virus comes in 2 types: herpes simplex (hsv) 1&2. Antibodies (igg) to both viruses can be tested to see if you have lasting immunity and (igm) short-term antibodies check to see if you have had a recent infection. Unfortunately the igg levels can not tell how long ago you were exposed. Also herpes 1 & 2 viruses can cause either oral or genital herpes. Hope that helps. ...Read more
