I am 32 years man I have shaky hands ands numbness and panic attack I need help?

Often, my hands lightly shake and I don't feel good. Could it be an anxiety/panic attack or something else? I haven't been diagnosed anxiety.

See doctor: You're 16 and likely healthy. But first get checked by your pcp to make sure there is no medical reason for your hands shaking often and "not feeling good." Write down when this started, any triggers, what helps, any medications prescribed or OTC you take, any alcohol or drug use, caffeine intake, cigarette smoking and review with your doctor. Ask if anxiety could be the cause. Hope this helps. ...Read more

What causes tingling in hands during a panic attack? Sorry to ask again just didn't get answer. Thank you in advance

Fight/flight: Our bodies react to threat w/ a wide range of chemical/hormonal responses. They helped our ancestors survive by preparing the body to run or fight. Blood flow is raised and re-directed to muscles from whatever else it was doing. Breathing changes, it's complicated - but dry mouth, sweating, etc., etc. All can happen. The nerve endings in your hands are stimulated. Seek good CBT Tx for the attacks! ...Read more

How to get a benzo to help my panic attacks and insomnia so I have had moderate anxiety my whole life, but in the past year or so it has gotten out of hand. I can't focus in school, I get panic attacks at work and school because I freak out over the small

Symptoms: Symptoms of anxiety disorder and panic attacks could be very disabling. Benzodiazepines can rapidly reduce anxiety symptoms, however, they tend to be addictive, lose effectiveness over time, worsen memory and may cause seizures upon withdrawal. Vilazodone is an antidepressants and many antidepressants are also beneficial in treatment of anxiety disorders. However, not all antidepressants have been approved by regulatory government bodies (such as the us food and drug administration or fda) for treatment of anxiety. Among those that have been approved are ssri class antidepressants (fluoxetine, sertraline, paroxetine) and snri class antidepressants (venlafaxine, duloxetine, desvenlafaxine). I do not believe that vilazodone has such approval. Lack of approval could mean several things but oftentimes it means that the drug has either been tested for a particular condition (e.g. Anxiety) and turned out to be ineffective, or it has not been tested for this condition. I posted a link below to the fda website in case you wish to verify which medications have been approved for treatment of anxiety. Like with many other psychiatric conditions, the best treatment approach is the comprehensive approach. When correctly used, medications can be very effective and helpful but understanding and eliminating the factors that cause or perpetuate anxiety symptoms, or disrupt your sleep, could significantly improve your chances of success. ...Read more

Pt c/o sudden weight loss, "panic attacks, " difficulty breathing, stuffy sinuses, cold clammy hands. History of heavy etoh and htn. Wt s ds?

Really?: Primary hypertension is not common (less than 10%) before age 40. Sudden weight loss is also rare. These two "facts" need to be confirmed before jumping to any conclusions. If leave out these two items, what's left is heavy alcohol, and a list of anxiety symptoms. Alcohol withdrawal tends to cause anxiety symptoms, increased blood pressure, so when did this "pt" have his/her last alcohol drink? ...Read more

Hi I get panic attacks a lot for no reason. The symptoms are nauseousness, heart rate speed up, and pins and needles I'm hands and nose. Why it happen?

Panic Attacks: Panic attacks r from release of adrenaline when there's no need 4 flight or fight response. If u can chill out 4 abt 15 mins (when the adrenaline will wear off), it will pass. Panic gets worse when u freak out + tell yrself it's never going 2 end, leading 2 continued re-release of adrenaline. Exposure therapy from a trained therapist helps. If your nasal spray is a stimulant, it may be a factor. ...Read more

Maybe, maybe &: Maybe. Any abnormality, including Migraine Aura & TIA. Along the pathway from the brain to the wrist can cause temporary numbness. Also, pressure on a nerve from an external source and a temporary chemical imbalance that occurs with hyperventilation, can cause numbness or tingling. I felt like maybe I was having panic attack at first. My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. Arms, hands and face went numb. My mouth and hands both contracted to the point that I was barely able to use them.

Panic: Panic attacks are usually brief. They often last a couple of minutes to around ten minutes. Symptoms can include a sense of severe anxiety or panic as well as chest tightness or pain and a rapid or pounding heartbeat. A person can experience hot flashes or chills and perspire heavily. There may be a sense of a tickle sensation in the stomach or nausea. When a person has a panic attack they may feel dizzy or faint and may become physically shaky. The person may fear that they are going crazy, they are out of control or that they are about to die.
It is reported that 60% of panic attacks are accompanied by hyperventilation. During hyperventilation the person breathes faster or deeper than normal which causes them to blow off too much carbon dioxide (co2). This in turn can lead to numbness and tingling of the hands, feet and lips. When hyperventilation is severe it can cause muscle spasm in the hands and feet.
It is very important to have a full physical evaluation because there are a number of medical conditions that can cause a pounding heart, numbness and muscle contractions. Good luck. ...Read more

Under lots of stress for months, and had a panic attack. Bottom of foot is vibrating now; weakness and tingling in hand, bruise-like pain in arm. Help!

Get checked: Although anxiety can present with severe and real physical symptoms, other physical causes of these symptoms have to be ruled out so we are not treating one part of the problem, or the wrong problem altogether. When symptoms are unilateral, (on one side) there is more compelling reasons to have a thorough evaluation by ur dr., please see your doctor for a proper assessment. Good luck. ...Read more

I've been experiencing severe panic attacks right before going to bed. I feel as if I can't breath, like I'm having a heart attack and will die. I also have physical symptoms such as a bad pain in my left arm and back, tingling in my hand and sweating.

Be careful: Be certain that the cause is truly a panic attack: this a "diagnosis of exclusion." first you need to be checked carefully for other, more ominous causes. See your family doc if you haven't already. If it's deemed to be panic, consider relaxation techniques like transcendental meditation, yoga, self hypnosis with or without assistance from a tranquilizer (under the direction of your doc). ...Read more
