Unusual: It would be unusual not to have any other symptoms but bone/joint pains. Most folks will feel weak(due to anemia), have skin bruises from low platelets and often have infections due to low white cell count. A blood test called CBC can address your question better. Mine have them: All 3 of my children have had nosebleeds from time to time and none have had cancer. Nosebleeds are almost always due to dry noses, nose-picking, dry air, colds, and or can just happen. Cancer is a very rare cause. Any doubts of course, please dont hesitate to bring them in to your pediatrician. There are no bad questions for your pediatrician! ...Read more
