Dr. Pamela I am bipolar, schizoaffective, I have an eating d/o, severe emotional pain. Are meds enough?
No, not enough: I'm sorry to hear you're in severe emotional pain. Schizoaffective disorder can be very painful in itself, even without an eating disorder too. Medications are only partial treatment for these conditions, and psychotherapy is very important also. Seek out a competent Orthopedic specialist for advice and persistent problems. ...Read more

Should I get surgery or physical therapy again after dislocating my patella twice in 4 months? I also might've chipped a piece of cartilage inside.
Patella dislocation: Difficult question. If you were adequately and completely rehabilitated following the first episode and dislocated again then surgery may be a better and more conservative answer to prevent further damage. If there is possibility of loose body from chipping surgery is highly appropriate. You need to talk frankly with your orthopedist. ...Read more
I took a roxicodone (oxycodone) and 5 hours later took a 10 panel drug test i drank a lot of water will i pee clean?
Probably not: Five hours is more than enough time for the oxycodone to be absorbed and metabolized by the body, so your urine will likely show traces of the drug, even if you drank a lot of water. It also depends on the sensitivity of the drug screen. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
