I take albuterol, also ipratropium bromide, and budosemide, i mix the albuterol and ipratropium together. Is it ok to mix the budosemide w/albuterol?

No: I would not do it, just because you don't know how you're going to react to it. Although, there are commercial preparations of longer acting albuterol (salmeterol, formoterol), mixed in with a steroid (budesonide), there is no such formulation that would include short acting albuterol. ...Read more

Increased heart rate: Both medications are known to cause increased heart rate, and Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) can also increase blood pressure. It is important to consider for someone with underlying heart disease or rhythm abnormalities, but for other healthy adults without any heart disease, these medications can be safely taken together. There is variability among individuals in terms of their sensitivity to these side effects. ...Read more

Is it ok to take Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) XR and a preworkout supplement with caffiene and beta alanine in it?

Took 15mg of Adderall and supplemented it with 25 mg of ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate). Will i get the same effect?

Took 15mg of Adderall and supplemented it with 25 mg of ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate). Will i get the same effect?

No, and you shouldn't: be playing doctor (or pharmacist). Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) has been removed from the American market for some time because it has a great potential to increase pulse and blood pressure, and was associated with a number of severe adverse events in patients taking them, as was phenylpropylamine. What you are doing is abuse, and is not helping your ADHD. Discuss with your psychiatrist if you are having problems. ...Read more

Is it okay to use beta blockers (propranolol) with amphetamines and methylphenidate to counteract uncomfortable stimulant effects?

Is it okay to use beta blockers (propranolol) with amphetamines and methylphenidate to counteract uncomfortable stimulant effects?

It can be tricky: Beta blockers block only one arm of the adrenaline response that methylphenidate and/or amphetamines stir up - the Alpha adrenergic effects are not blocked, and may be relatively increased in people on beta blockers, especially hypertension. If you are getting uncomfortable stimulant effects, it would generally be better to either reduce the dose of the med or switch to constant-release form. ...Read more

Can I use Ephedrine (ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) sulfate) to improve my alertness on extremely busier days? If ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) is a stimulant, what is the safest dose to take it and reduce sleepiness at day time?

Ehedrine: Recommend you check the Rand Report at http://www.rand.org/pubs/research_briefs/RB4556/index1.html You may have been much younger when it was pulled off the market for a period of time, but I personally knew a young man , 25, military and no heart disease history, training on a hot day and died of a heart attack, that was linked to his use of ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) years before. He had not taken for 5+year ...Read more
