Weight is lost: All over the body, not just in one area like the belly. Are you exercising? That is an important component. Make sure your doc thinks you are healthy enough to exercise and ask him/her about what food plan to use, probably low carbs. Please focus on who you are as a person, which is more important than waist size. Peace and good health.
I am having pain n lower abdomen and lower back. Regular dr said eat more fiber well I am not havin issues n that dept?
Constipation common: There are many causes of abdominal pain, some of which can be simply annoying, like constipation, others can be deadly. Many constipated people don't realize it. Ask Dr why he/she thinks you're constipated. Xray can prove it. If pain continues keep working w/Dr to rule out serious causes. Most of the time the cause can be determined with a physical exam and a few simple tests.
Sharp pain that isn't going away in my lower abdomen. I move it shoots down to my testis. When I sit down its worse. Sit n smoke n workout alot?
See your doctor: You could have a kidney stone, infection, hernia, or several other things. You need to have this evaluated.
Many things: This problem mandates a real-time (face-to-face) meeting with a doctor. A history has to be taken along with a examination as well as labs and other tests. Only after all this will your doctor be in a position to tell you what's wrong and what needs to be done to help you.
No: You need to describe exactly, location, severity, anything that alters the sensation and your medical and medications history That may guide to a cause.See 1 more doctor answer
How bad is it?: If severe, go to er asap. Is the pain on the surface or deep in the abdomen? Does it come and go or change with coughing? Does it move? Does it radiate anywhere else? What makes it worse? Activity? Eating? Did u injure yourself? Is it improving or worsening or the same. Other symptoms? Fevers? Chills? Change in bowel movements? If not severe, make an appt with your md.
Need more info: What you describe could be anything from muscle strain to hernia to menstrual cycle related to irritable bowel and other bowel problems It would help to know your age, what makes your symptom better or worse, the frequency of occurrence and how long the symptom stays when it occurs. You might want to set up a virtual formal consult to better answer your questions. I am Dr. Theresa Henderson.
See a doctor: There are medical emergencies that come to mind when you say right lower abdominal pain, but there are so many different causes, that you really need to see a doctor and have a complete history and physical examination to figure out what is going on.
Depends: Depending on the timing, associations and severity of your abdominal pain it could range from very benign conditions to things that could be more worrisome. See your primary care provider and get to the bottom of your pain. Hopefully it is an easy fix!
Lots: The list is quite long from gynecological (cysts, infection, endometriosis, etc.), gastrointestinal (diverticulitis, appendicitis, irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel, etc.), anatomical (hernias etc.) among others. A proper history and physical exam will be necessary to narrow the options.See 1 more doctor answer
