Pale Yellow Bowel Movement
Bowel movements were soft yellow stools then yellow diarrhea, been experiencing stomach nausea too.?
The gastrointestinal tract starts at the mouth, travel down the tunnel (esophagus), which connects to the stomach, which then empties into the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum---the three parts of the small intestine (@25 feet). This empties into the colon or large intestine (about 5 feet), which then becomes the sigmoid colon, rectum and out the anus. So, every morsel eaten ...Read more

Very fatigue, passing light brown with black spots stool on today, only making bowel movements every other day, strong smelling dark yellow urine.
General symptoms...: There are a lot of things that can cause these general symptoms. If your urine is concentrated and you are constipated, make sure you are drinking LOTS of fluids. If the black spots have any red in them, you should be evaluated. Sometimes Pepto Bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) can cause both constipation and black spots in stool. If you have a fever or any other focused symptoms, see a doctot. ...Read more
Orange watery stool? Abdominal crming, gasy, watery orange stool. Some solid stool, lack of energy.
Hello. : Hello. I can’t diagnose the reason for your orange colored stool. Passing orange feces may mean the stool either isn’t absorbing or isn’t coming in contact with enough bile salt. This can happen if the stool is transiting too quickly through the colon. As a result of moving so rapidly, fluid is not be adequately reabsorbed through the colon which results in liquid feces. Sometimes the problem can be that bile isn’t getting through the bile ducts (i.e., like gallstones). Diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, gallstones & inflammation of the bile ducts are just a few possible reasons for orange stool. If you have been ingesting a lot of antacids that contain aluminum, that can also cause orange stools. Suggest you consult with your doctor on this one. ...Read more

Should get evaulated: Being a 26 y/o female, it is likely that you have irritable bowel syndrome and with the frequent loose stools can cause significant anal/perianal irritation, at times bleeding from it. If you have been having symptoms for yrs, ibs is likley. If this is new, something else maybe causing your symptoms such as ulcerative colitis etc..I recommend consulting your doc for an eval. IBS?: Not having the opportunity to interview and examine you, i can only go by what you have described. What caught my interest was your description of your stools. You said they were thin, and your rectum felt itchy. Pencil thin stools and the urge to defecate are the cornerstones of the symptom called tenesmus, which is very common in irritable bowel syndrome. Have you been given that diagnosis? ...Read more

Went to the bathroom and the last 2 inches was pale coloured with brown specks. Rest of bowel movement was normal. What causes this ?

Stool color: Bile gives color to the stool which is normally yellow to brown. Reduction of bile in the intestines can cause the stool color to be pale. Reasons for this could be obstruction of the common bile duct which prevents release of bile from the gallbladder or decreased production of bile stored in the gallbladder. Your doctor can help explain this process more in detail. ...Read more

Cancer Risk: Bile acids are excreted in the stool unchanged in less than 24 hours. However, if the bile acids remain in the body more than 24 hours, they break down into potent carcinogens. Prolonged contact with the intestines and colon result in carcinogenic changes--i.e., bowel cancer. Vitally important to have a bowel movement every day! You need more fiber (psyllium husks), magnesium, and water. ...Read more

As an expert: In toddler poops, I can tell you the only two kinds of stools we worry about are those that are chalky gray and those that contain blood. The body churns up food, processes it, and our bacteria metabolize bits and pieces, so one can see all kinds of weird stuff in there. Don't let it freak you out. ...Read more
