I'm 18 I have a small lump(no growth)right Infront of my tragus(ear)it disappears when I open my mouth.It has no pain or symptoms.I also have tonsils.

I have had my tonsils out but yet I have a red painless lump on the left where my tonsil was worried because I have no pain just can feel swallowing?

Benign lumps could be due to a saliva cyst, benign minor salivary tumor, or accessory lymphoid tissue. 3-4 CM white nodule (lump) in throat surrounded by blood vessel, not tonsil stone. What is that? No symptoms.

See ENT: You should go to see ear nose and throat doctor as soon as possible. That mass should be evaluated and biopsy should be done to rule out cancer. Also, certain imaging study i.e. Ct scan likely need to be done as well. Don't delay anymore , go to see ENT ...Read more

Lymphadenitis?: Tonsils are essentially big lymph nodes and will become enlarged and inflamed wihen fighting infection just as any other lymph tissue. The lump could just be a reaction to your upper respiratory infection, but if it does not resolve in about four weeks, it should be evaluated by your doctor as sometimes they can become malignant. ...Read more
