I recently found a sizable lump (golf ball size)in middle of my lower back. I can move it slightly and it has no pain. Should I be concerned?

Probably not: Most likely, it's probably a "lipoma"--a piece of encapsulated fat. If it's not cosmetically bothering you, and it doesn't hurt, no treatment is necessary. If you're concerned about it, you can have it surgically removed by a dermatologist or a good GP. ...Read more

I have a lump on my lower back above the buttocks, is cancer? Its painless, im really worried

Probably not: It depends on your age and exact other symptoms. Pilonidal cysts are quite common in this location, but they usually have hair or drainage associated with them. Is it a mass? Is it soft and pliable? Could be a lipoma. If it is hard, irregular borders, and immobile, that is more concerning. Probably should get it looked at. ...Read more

Hiya I have a lump on my lower back you can't see but can feel it not sore to touch just a bit worrying what could it be in 23 thank you x?

Back lump: Anything you can't see needs to be "seen" by someone who can give a reasonable guess what it is. Then, how to "diagnose" the lump is another matter. Any number of entities, like fatty lumps (lipomas), lymph nodes, skin disease (moles), or a myriad of other things should be at least looked at. See a physician. ...Read more

I have what looks like a large mass or two things inside my vagina which basically close it up. My whole vulva area looks warped with lumps and colours. What could this be? Coccyx & pelvic pain too.

I have what looks like a large mass or two things inside my vagina which basically close it up. My whole vulva area looks warped with lumps and colours. What could this be? Coccyx & pelvic pain too.

See your doctor: One thing that comes to mind is the possibility of enlarged and possibly infected Bartholin's cysts. The Bartholin's glands are around the vaginal lips and can become blocked, creating a cyst or sometimes an abscess. Abscesses need to be drained and can cause infection further than just the vulvo-vaginal area. This could explain your pelvic pain. Please see your doc for proper diagnosis and treatment ...Read more

I have lumps on my lower back and some in chest what might be the reason?

Anything?: Without actual evaluation, it is hard to assess why you might have these lumps. If they bother you, I would have them checked out. Could be nothing like a benign tumor called a lipoma (fat tissue collection) or could be an infection of glands or worse possible cancer tumor. Rather than wonder what it is, get it checked out. ...Read more
