Knowing glands are enlarged helps a little, makes me think more towards an acute infection mononucleosis, but still not enough information about her history and exam to really say much. For being concerned about HIV?? If so you should deal with this ASAP with your Primary Care Provider. NO!!!! it DOES NOT sound like HIV. Rather it sounds like symptoms of a local infection (groin nodes develop from infection in fungal disease feet ("Athlete's foot!!) or a systemic viral gastroenteritis!
