If you have a significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see your medical provider ; get a strep throat test ; culture. Saltwater gargles are helpful. Could be a sty : It may be an early sty. It should be one eyelid not both that is swollen. If one the use of warm compresses four times a day for 5-10 minutes for a couple of days should help. If both lids are swollen it may be preseptal infection and you should see a doctor as you may need antibiotics.
