Painful Sores On Penis
I have non painful red sores on my penis shaft and on skin where pubic hair grows, is it herpes? Or is it possibly something else?
Raised sores on penis that eventually open slightly. Painful only with contact. Tested NEGATIVE for HSV 1&2. Antiviral meds help. Wat can it be??
Genital rash: Well certainly you need a proper diagnosis here. If you can show a picture, that would be most helpful. Syphilis comes to mind first -because it's characterized by a relatively painless ulcer that is raised. I wonder if you've had any risks for exposure? There are other diseases possible such as Bechet's -although it would seem strange that you're just getting symptoms from that now. See ID doctor ...Read more
See a dermatologist: It is difficult to make a proper diagnosis since I am not there to see the condition. I recommend seeing a dermatologist so that they can make a proper diagnosis and give you something to get rid of the condition or relieve symptoms. ...Read more

Already had HSV1 MOUTH. Have had TWO cold sores on penis since January. Herpeselect test negative for HSV2 at 2.5 months, and again after 5 months. Igg. 22 and. 54. Can HSV1 migrate to groin?
Herpes "migration"?: Herpes doesn't spontaneously migrate. However HSV 1 can cause genital herpes just as easily as HSV 2. Just requires exposure. Touching ur cold sore and then touching your groin could cause this. As could kissing your partner, giving him/her oral herpes, and then him/her performing oral sex on you. Or, performing oral sex on your partner. .. & so on. C ur doc for proper diagnosis & treatment. ...Read more

Unprotected oral sex: I am assuming you are concerned about your HIV risk. Based on the information you provided I think your risk is low with the three negative tests. HOWEVER - your behavior is risky. Saliva can contain the HIV virus and while you may not have any cuts or sores - your partner could easily scratch or bite you. Be careful!! ...Read more

Waiting for STD results. Had unprotected sex weeks ago. No discharge, odor, or sores. As I pee very painful tip of penis. Likely kidney stones? ATI?
A few possibilities: "Weeks ago" is too long a delay in symtoms for most STDs. Probably you mean UTI, not ATI. Non-STD urinary tract infections are rare at your age, although possible especially if you had anal sex. Gonorrhea is possible, but usually has prominent pus discharge. Maybe herpes, but usually only with obviously visible blisters/sores. Stone passage may be possible. Hang in there, work with doctor. ...Read more
