Normal papillae?: Everybody has a row of 7-11 prominent taste buds on the back of the tongue, arranged in a shallow V shaped line. They're called circumvallate papillae; google it for photos. Perhaps yours are currently more obvious because of your coated tongue, which is common itself especially during minor viral infections, altered nutrition, etc. Probably nothing to worry about, but see doctor if uncertain. ...Read more
