Sounds like: some of your symptoms may be related to your fibromyalgia. It does not look like you are taking any medication for this. If you are having swelling/edema in your extremities that can also be a cause for the "burst veins". Varicose veins can also become inflamed, causing your symptoms. I would recommend you see your doctor to have these addressed. There ARE treatments for fibromyalgia! ...Read more

Pins and needles: It's unclear if this is occurring with pressure in the back of the knees or the hands and wrist. Pressure over those areas can cause those symptoms. If there is no pressure over those area, then the question is do these symptoms persist or quickly dissipate. What you're describing is due to your blood vessels constricting (narrowing), possibly "Raynaud's phenomenon." Our bodies do this normally in response to things like cold but in some individuals, the degree of constriction can be severe and easily triggered. Avoiding triggers is the simplest thing to try.
